  • Lecture the theory, application, and safety considerations of five PdM technologies:

    • Vibration Analysis

    • Thermography

    • Tribology (oil analysis)

    • Ultrasonic

    • Motor Circuit Analysis

  • The importance of operator care (visual inspection) as a component of a PdM program

  • Discuss the value of process parameters and Operating Dynamics Analysis

  • Map machine dynamics and failure modes

  • Review methods to set up and manage an effective PdM program
